The Public News is a newsweekly launched in 2006 as a North Metro Houston newspaper that focuses on the news, arts, entertainment, film, music, and events that affect and interest the 1.5 million plus residents of Spring, The Woodlands, Klein, Atascocita, Tomball, Conroe and Humble Texas and the surrounding areas.
The new Public News is not to be confused with another paper by the same name that folded in 1998.
